The much awaited All India Engineering Entrance Exam (AIEEE) 2012 Results have been declared by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). AIEEE result 2012 was published on June 9th 2012 for both offline and online modes.

The AIEEE 2012 offline mode examination was held on April 29th 2012 and AIEEE 2012 online mode examination was held from May 7th, 12th, 19th, 26th, 2012. The AIEEE is an all-India common entrance examination conducted for taking admission to engineering and architecture or planning courses. Students who have got eligibility can take the admission in universities and National institute of Technology (NIT's) and other Technical institutions all over India for BE, B.Tech, B.Arch or BPlanning courses. This examination is conducted every year by CBSE. Nearly more than 11 lakh students had taken the prestigious AIEEE this year. Among them 4.1 lakh students crossed the cut-off mark of 48, and are eligible to apply online for counselling.

Sandeep Pathry of Government Boys Senior Secondary School, Mukherjee Nagar, got 346 out of 360 marks and secured first rank in AIEEE 2012. This was his second attempt of AIEEE. Among girls, Mansi Sood of DPS Vasant Kunj secured with all India rank of 6 with a score of 336 out of 360.
